Challenges We Face in Versatile Mobile App User Interface

In recent times, be it for mobile or web platforms, interface designs for applications are jazzed up with simple design in order to provide better understanding to the users about the purpose of functionality.
In this article, we shall discuss on the various factors responsible in the evolution of the flat UI design trend in application design, NYC (both android and iOS).

Excessive information:

As days pass by the amount of information processing is growing high and hence the presence of design jargons are considered to be a clutter. Plus, the handy mobile devices are demanding simplicity as the size of the screen is relatively small.

From ‘Feature Rich’ To ‘Feature Specific’:

Back in 2000, android application design is suppose to be feature rich which has now trended to being more feature-specific. Rather than bestowing an app with a number of features it is important to focus on a limited set of features but with simpler designs and eventually reduced complexity.

Screen Sizes:

One of the most important factors that have paved way to the simplicity in app UI design is when developing for android it needs to adapt multiple screen sizes. In other words, the design has to be simple and light so that applications are responsive to which they are expected to be adjustable.

Design Compatibility on Target Devices:

With the increase in number mobile devices and types, app developers and designers are challenged to deliver the app perfectly with full blow user experience. Need to be aware of design compatibility on target devices or else make your app responsive.

As we conclude, one of the challenging parts of a flat design is highlighting the interactive elements of an application which can be compromised by using icons or buttons. Apart from the above discussed points there are a lot more factors that support the origin of flat design. But then considering all these points will help you in shaping up an intuitive design that serves its purpose.
